The derived geographic database used by this map is freely available from the
same site, without authentication:

Download base.json and every JSON URL listed in index.json to obtain all layers.
Features spanning chunks are repeated; deduplicate by properties.osm_id.
base.json contains coastline, major roads, land cover, water, beaches and labels.
The indexed chunks contain the remaining roads and building footprints.
Coordinates are WGS84 longitude, latitude, rounded to six decimal places.
There are no administrative boundary polygons in this database.

provenance.json identifies the four bounded official OSM API source requests,
retrieval timestamps and SHA-256 hashes. These are download times, not field
verification dates or one atomic OSM transaction timestamp. Community mapping
may be incomplete or outdated. Feature anchors do not certify public entrances.

One-time explicit source refresh: node scripts/fetch-geography.mjs --refresh
Do not run the source API downloader from browser page loads or use the editing
API as a frequent bulk-refresh/tile service. For larger coverage use regional
extracts and self-hosted processing with the same ODbL obligations.

The original SAMUI.MY SVG marker drawings and rendering style are separate from
the OSM database. Leaflet 1.9.4 is supplied with its BSD license in vendor/.
No Google Maps data or third-party map style has been copied into these files.
